Coloring Book Raglan by Aimee Sher

DESCRIPTION

The Coloring Book Raglan was inspired by a relaxed sweatshirt fit from my youth. This updated and elevated classic knit is a versatile worsted-weight raglan that comes with long fitted sleeves, ¾ wide sleeves, cute preppy edge stripes, body and sleeve stripes, and two body lengths. Along with the possibility of just knitting the pattern plain, there are at least 14 possible permutations in the pattern itself… and more if you’re willing to make some mods. All versions have an underarm ribbing detail.

The pattern comes with coloring pages for 12 different sleeve, stripe, and body combinations so you can plan your perfect version.

 Thun by the Blue Mouse

Thun, pronouced like Toon (listen), is a top down seamless raglan sweater with a split hem and stripes in the body & sleeves. Worked up in DK weight this sweater will fly off your needles and the stripes keep you going.

Want to try it on a small project? Then you want Little Thun! Little Thun is the baby/child version of the Adult Thun Sweater which you can find here.

A super simple, fun and fast knit. This baby sweater will knit up in a flash using DK weight yarn and incorporating stripes into the body and sleeves.

Our first session will be about swatching, determinging the size, choosing yarn and needles. Bring with you one ball of the yarn you want to use, plus a variety of knitting needles.

Our Teacher

 Jennifer Haack has been knitting since she can remember. She has taught knitting and crochet in India, Shanghai, Taiwan, Dubai, Dusseldorf and Canada, where she hails from and now resides. Always looking for the next creative fix, she is also an accomplished quilter, quilt teacher and designer, embroiderer and general fabric artist. 

Jennifer is visiting us this year during July and will be teaching a variety of classes.
