A comfortable raglan sweater can not be beat! This pattern is done top down, so no sewing up and you can get the length of body and sleeves just right.

Gauge
13 sts = 10cm on 6.5mm needles

You will also need

• A set each of 6.00mm and 6.50mm knitting needles

• A circular 6.50mm knitting needle or size needed to give correct tension.

• 4 stitch markers

• Wool need

When substituting yarn, compare the tension gauge of the pattern and the yarn. Working a tension square to determine the suitability of the yarn as a substitute is recommended - to compare the tension for sizing but also to test whether it creates the fabric you are after.

To determine the quantity of substitute yarn needed, compare the total meterage needed in the pattern to the meterage on the substitute.
