Gentle days call for calming knitwear and Florrie is just that. She drapes effortlessly with a gorgeous combination of soothing simplicity and delicate feminine details and is the perfect cardigan for snuggling in and adding ease to your day.
Florrie is a top-down heavy-fingering/sport weight cardigan with dropped sleeves and a beautiful hem.
She’s constructed in a fun way; you’ll begin with the back and then pick up and create the collar as you work the front sections. The neckband and front edges are finished with an elegant I-cord edge and are knitted together with the easy, rhythmic, stocking stitch body.
Sleeves are picked up and knitted in the round once the body is complete. Florrie’s lace hem is a beautiful combination of simple stitches and sweet nupps, which are clearly explained.
Charted and written instructions for the lace are included.
Florrie is a perfect knit for intermediate knitters and beginners looking for an adventure.
