Bring the charm of natural wool colours into your home with this beautiful throw. Our throw uses a baby blanket pattern, adapted to use Countrywide Natural Hanks in 14 ply. This makes for a fast and luxurious knit.

Finished size: 160 x 140cm

Your kit includes 6 hanks of 100% wool and the pattern by Lisa Craig, with our notes added. Remember to check that you have the correct needles! We recommend using a circular needle. Good choices are:

• KnitPro Symfonie Tips (7mm) with a KnitPro 100cm cable or a KnitPro Swivel Cable of 100cm
  or
• ChiaoGoo Interchangeable Tips (7mm) and a 125cm Red Twist cable or a ChiaoGoo Swiv 360 Silver Cable  

Build your own kit

Like the pattern but prefer fewer or different colours? You can mix and match yarn to make your own, unique throw. Have a look at the Natural Hank colours (it looks stunning in just cream!) We like the way this knitted up in Fiddlesticks Grange 14 ply too!

For this project you will need 230m of each colour, or 1,380m in total. In Grange that means 2 - 3 balls of each colour (or 13 balls in total). Your blanket will be slightly shorter if you use 2 of each and slightly longer if you use 2 balls of each colour.
